Help Baby Logan Recover from life Saving Surgery

Baby Logan was born on December 22nd, unfortunately his birth was not without complications. A portion of baby Logans bowel had done a 720 degree rotation. This caused him to spew green bile as he was not processing food for the first few days of his life.In turn he also began to develop elevated Bilirubin levels, as well as Jaundice.

The hospital gave us an early discharge despite his conditions, but we did get 1 beautiful Christmas Eve with him at home.His mother felt uneasy about this early discharge. So we took baby Logan back to the hospital the next morning on Christmas Day.

At the maternity ward of the hospital he almost choked to death on the bile as it came from his mouth and nose simultaneously. Fortunately a few seconds later on Christmas Day he was rushed into ER where he was stabilized, and taken to the NICU at Sick Kids Hospital.

Now at sick kids hospital he was rushed into an emergency surgery that saved his life. The amazing team of Doctors at Sick Kids Hospital was able to reverse the twisted bowel, and take precautionary measures to help prevent future complications.

Logan has shown to be a strong, and resilient little baby boy. However his mother is on maternity leave, and his disabled father is on ODSP, so our funds have quickly run out.

We need help with transportation as well as food so that we can continue to see our beautiful baby boy every day while he recovers.

Although he is a strong boy, we are unsure how long he will be staying at Sick Kids Hospital.

He has been our Christmas Miracle, not just from his birth, but also from the surgeons that saved his life.

We also need a high quality breast pump to aid in his recovery. The Doctors, and nurses at Sick Kids hospital have recommended the Medela Pump $369, or the Ameda Joy Pump at $240.00.

We have drained our bank accounts the last few weeks as we have used Uber to get around the city from one hospital to the next on a daily basis.

We have received the breast pump that we need through a very generous donation. Moving forward with Baby Logans recovery the funds that we raise from this point on will continue to aid Baby Logan as well as the cost of our food, and transportation. We hope that he will be home soon.
