Hello, my name is Steve Knowles. I am seeking help for my sister, Patty Heyman.

Patty is 59 years old, a graduate of Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. She and her husband Chad have two children. Patty has a beautiful voice, and sings in the choir at her church. She taught piano lessons to kids in the Cleveland area for twenty years, until her doctor recommended she stop. That loss is perhaps the cruelest blow she has endured.

This lady is one of God's gifts. Her light shines.

Patty has been battling breast cancer for over ten years. She has undergone radiation, lumpectomies, a double mastectomy and reconstruction, and been through several different types of chemo.

In 2014, she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer; the disease had metastisized and spread throughout her liver. The cancer has now invaded areas of her spine, and other bones.

Her body is wearing down from the treatments, and the cancer has become more resistant. Her oncologist holds out little hope. Conventional treatments offer a very few more months of life, at best.

After much deliberation and prayer, Patty and Chad have decided to pursue alternative treatment at the Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Treatments there are specifically targeted to the individual's cancer, and their results are very encouraging.

The five to six month program is not covered by insurance, and the cost estimate from the Center is from one hundred and fifty to two hundred thousand dollars. We need help raising that kind of money.
