This gofundme page was created to help the Martinez Family because their home, personal belongings and cars have been taken from them due to hurricane Ida . Nine months ago when they purchased their 1st home in Manville, NJ and in a matter of hours it was all take away by the hurricane .

It's taken the The Martinez family over 20 years to save up for their first home. They were able to make this dream come true 9 months ago and it was taken away from them in a matter of minutes. Estela and Miguel were settling in with their 3 sons on Wednesday night when their lives changed drastically. Their first floor and basement completed inundated by flood water so they had to retreat to the second floor of thier home where they stayed until the next day until they were rescued by Manville Police. Their cars are were completely submerged in water and they lost everything in the first level of their home. They are currently staying at a hotel near their jobs so they can walk to work since their cars are gone and home is not inhabitable.

Our goal is to be able collect funds to help the Martinez Family get food, lodging, and the supplies necessary to repair their home. Like many families in the area the insurance companies in NJ won't be covering the damages in their home caused by the flooding. This means that they are responsible to fix the extensive damages to their home.
