Sofi is going to the Olympics again! Paris 2024

Hello friends! It’s us again, the Megafans of Sofi Reinoso. Sofi is, for the second time, going to the Olympics! Alongside being one of the world’s top female creek boaters, Sofi has paired running dizzying 85 foot waterfalls in Chile with the relentless discipline of kayak slalom racing. To many of us here on the Potomac, Sofi has been a mentor, friend and inspiration. Whether leading us down the deep canyons of Mexico, teaching us how to paddle the gates better or just turning to us halfway down a river and saying - “you got this” - Sofi has been there for us.

Representing Team Mexico is hard because she does it almost all on her own. There is no team coach, team manager, or team doctor. She buys her own boats and equipment, flights to Europe for competitions, and pays for every hour spent practicing on the world’s best competition courses. She does this ALMOST all on her own – but not quite because she has her community of friends and fans.

Sofi is hoping to get some funding from sports bodies for her trip, but it’s not enough to cover all the costs of her coaching, traveling and racing. So we thought it would be a cool idea to sell some t-shirts and raise some more funds to help our heroine along the road to the Olympics. To cover costs and get us a bit of a margin, we're pricing the t-shirt at $40 – but we've left it open so that if you can and want to donate more to Sofi's fund, then you can do that too.
