Suicide Awareness
Donation protected
October 1st 2021 marks two years since the passing of our beloved Jewelleena. At the young age of 13, Jewelleena died by suicide and our hearts are forever broken as we lost our baby girl and the world lost a beautiful soul far too soon. We are left here trying to find answers to why? why isn't there more awareness about teen suicide or suicide in general?
Jewelleena was so very loved by her family and friends, and we thank everyone for the outpouring of love shared by the many, many stories, kind words, and prayers.
We want Jewelleena to be remembered for how she lived, full of laughter and love. She was sweet, funny, caring. She loved being goofy with her friends, listening to music, and baking cookies. Jewelleena was very close to her family, and loved teaching her niece new things. She was a competitive gymnast from the age of 6, and she was very close to her teammates at DSG gymnastics. She loved flipping, flying, and turning upside down whenever she could.
In memory of her beautiful spirit, we would like to establish the Jewelleena Arellano Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will fund young gymnasts with financial need, to do exactly what Jewelleena loved, to be a part of a loving team and do competitive gymnastics!
All donations will go directly to this fund. We thank you again for all of your love and support.
