Help Bryony Float

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE who always puts others first loses everything they have, everything they own and everything they love overnight? Well; we all pull together and help them right back, right?
Genevieve Dunne, who just last week turned 30, became homeless after her beloved boat and home 'Bryony' sank; taking with it and destroying all of her clothes and personal possessions and leaving her without the place she's called home for the last two years.
Gen is the kind of person who really would give you the shirt off her own back. Once, a grown man was slumped over in a side street in London. Instead of walking on by, like countless others, Gen didn't hesitate to stop, put on the brakes of her bike, lay her bike down on the pavement, and began simply hugging this stranger, in silence. Shocked, the man began sobbing on her shoulder and hugged her back. No words were shared; just a heartfelt, genuine, loving hug. The world needs more Gen Gen’s! And this is our chance to get her up and running again.
Gen says that all she wants is cuddles and company and the odd bit of food to keep her going, but it's going to take rather more practical help to get her life back.
This this fund raising page has been set up by her sister Gel to generate a little cash to help 'Get Bryony Back' (and Gen back on track, too.)
It will cost at least £10,000 to pay for just half of the repairs. We know we will never achieve this, not in a million years. But we can make a start.
If you would like to make a donation, however small, please do so here. On behalf of Gen, we thank you wholeheartedly in advance.
