Ana Moran's Kaplan Medical Course
Donation protected
Hey everyone!
If you have served with Dr. Paul Juengel and me in El Salvador, then you know Ana Moran. I have known Ana for over 11 years when she was my first translator on the first mission I led for Global Health Outreach to El Salvador in 2005. Paul and I have watched her grow into the beautiful, godly woman she is now.
Ana decided to pursue medicine as a direct result of her experiences with GHO. She will graduate 26 March 2016 from medical school!Paul and I have often talked to Ana about trying to get her to the US for residency training as this is her dream. This is a long, difficult, and expensive road for any foreign medical school graduate. To successfully navigate this requires passing several major tests and extensive preparation. Almost all medical students from another country take an approximately 11/2 year preparation course through the Kaplan Medical Program designed to prepare them for these tests and to be accepted into a US medical residency program. Completion of a US residency would prepare Ana to return to El Salvador and become a premier physician there. The doors this training would open are unparalleled.
Paul and I have decided we will cover the entire costs of this education if necessary. The cost will be right at $12,000 payable at different intervals. Ana hopes to start with the April 2016 course in Pasedena, CA as she will be able to live with family of her father and thus save money. I am writing to ask if you would be willing to support Ana in this incredible opportunity. Every little bit will help her!
Ana, is a special person for whom God has great plans. She could never afford something like this alone and she is worthy of this opportunity. Paul and I believe in her and we think you do too! Thank you for prayerfully considering this!
Blessings!
