Help Leon get top surgery

I have ID'd as a trans man for upwards of two decades, basically ever since I found the language to do so as a kid. A perpetually rocky living situation and living with a conservative family has prevented me from transitioning for a long time. I finally feel like I'm in a comfortable place to do so safely, with a stable living situation and a good support network, to start making the changes that will allow me to move forward with my life. My primary goal in this is top surgery, as my chest is the biggest source of my dysphoria and having worn binders for over a decade has become extremely uncomfortable.

For the past three years I have been pursuing top surgery through public medical pathways, but due to the medical sector lacking funding I have been dropped off the waiting list several times and eventually refused a reapplication. My only other choice is to pursue privately funded surgery.

The quoted price starts at 12000 AUD, which is roughly equivalent to 7600 USD. It includes the surgeon fee, brief hospital stay and anaesthesia. The fundraiser goal has been reduced slightly keeping in mind possible insurance rebates (though I was told it wont be much), and selling off some personal effects to raise additional funds. If the fundraiser exceeds its goal I won't have to do the last part, and will also have more resources for additional costs and recovery period.
