As many of you may know, I will be traveling to Abu Dhabi, UAE in late October to compete in Junior World's Judo Tournament. Very few judo players get to participate in a competition of this magnitude and I am extremely honored and excited for this adventure. I have been training and competing in judo tournaments since I was 4 years old and this opportunity is what all the hard work is going towards. I train almost everyday at the dojo on top of exercising outside the dojo. I am currently #2 in the nation in Juniors and #4 in Seniors for my division. I have competed and medaled two other times internationally. I firmly believe I can acheive great success at the World's, but the only aspect giving me trouble is the money. USA Judo does not have enough to help fund the athletes so I turn to my friends, family, and collegues. I ask that those who able please donate what you can to my trip. The money will go towards airfare, hotel, and any tournament fees. Whether it be $5 or $500 every bit will help me. Thank you for your support!
I will keep everyone updated when the event draws near and during the actual competition. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the tournament, about me or about judo in general. :)
If you would like to see some videos, check out my FaceBook profile or message me directly.
