ACL surgery

mid 2020 this lovely customers came into my store, dragging a dog in. I prepped myself ready for this dog to slip out of the collar at any moment waiting at the door to try to close the door quick enough before the Dogwood escape. Unfortunately, I was not that fast, so I did the next thing possible I just body grab the dog when I did this she turned around and she put me her lovely human sit down her vaccination paperwork bag of dog food I never saw them again
It took for Luna a few weeks to become comfortable and friendly with me but once she did, she became a melt. All she wanted was cuddles and love in to chase a ball or frisbee. It took her time to overcome her fear of people, loud noises and other things but she’s come so far in her life which is why the surgery is so important for her. All funds will be toward her surgery. It’s quite costly. Any additional money will go to starting a charity to make people more aware and help others
The extent of Luna’s surgery is both ACL‘s have been torn on both rear legs one is got arthritis already developed in it. The other one is new for surgery is to fix the more recently torn one to prevent additional damage to it and then hopefully be able to go in and fix the other one as well. She does have onset arthritis in her hips, which means that she does have hip dysplasia setting in more than likely due to the ACL tears.
