The Moua Sisters: A Transplant Story
Donation protected
Please help my two beautiful sisters who have done nothing but live their lives for others, and are always helping not only their family, but their community. Julia Moua, the eldest of seven daughters who have been a role model for all of her younger siblings, nephews, and nieces has accomplished many things in her life. She is the first in our family to graduate with a college degree with a bachelors in nursing, and has worked at Clovis Community Hospital for 14 years. She was diagnosed with kidney disease in 2014 which has progressed into kidney failure just this year. My loving brother-in-law offered to donate one of his kidneys to the love of his life, but during the process discovered that he was not a match. As time was ticking they were back at square one and to prolong her life she's been put on dialysis. Just as all hope was lost my sister Jessica, wife and mother of three amazing children, decided to make a beautiful sacrifice for our sister and has volunteered to be Julia's donor. Not only is she doing this as a wonderful example of pure selflessness for her children she's is doing it out of the kindness of her heart. They have been matched and are undergoing the first step of many for this kidney transplant. They need help in funding this long journey of sisterly love and healing. As they both will be out of work for months after the surgery, and as medical expenses pile up the funds will help them and their families as they undergo this incredible chapter in their lives.
