Help Jan Layne survive and thrive

My mom, Jan Layne, was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2016. Complicating matters is the fact that, in 2015, my mom had left her home, her job, etc, to move to Montana to be with her 96 year old mother to ensure she was cared for through the end of her life. My mom is exceedingly giving of herself and willing to put others first. Unfortunately, part of this meant, she didn't focus on getting things like medical insurance for herself when she moved to Montana for her mom. So she was uninsured when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. My mom has insurance now, but it's Medicaid, which, if you own a home like my mom, means your medical bills stack up against the value of your home. In addition, there are some strongly recommended treatments my mom is refusing because they are not covered. My mom is terrible at asking for support, but right now she really needs and deserves it. If anyone can help in any way, it would help ensure the well-being of a truly kind and loving person. Thank you very much in advance.
