Jeremy "Jay" Pewitt

On Monday, April 3rd Jay was scheduled for an open heart bypass. During the procedure they encountered much worse blockages than originally expected. Following that very difficult 6+ hour surgery, it took multiple return trips to the operating room the following morning to get him stabilized. Jay is now left in critical condition There is a possibility he will be transferred to Emory and the probability he will be needing a heart transplant. Jay is a son, husband, and father of two beautiful children. This family needs our support as they have supported their friends and community in the past by volunteering and holding fundraisers for our schools and community. While there are many uncertainties ahead, one thing is certain- when good folks look out for one another anything is possible. On behalf of this beautiful family thank you for your thoughts, prayers and donations. All donations will go directly to the Pewitt family for medical and household expenses as Jay will be debilitated for quite some time. .
