Please Help Mike O'Flynn's family

On October 23rd 2024 we lost Mike O’Flynn at the young age of 46. Mike was a 16 year veteran in the elevator industry with IUEC local 82 residing in Kelowna, BC Canada and a father of four beautiful children. Mike tragically suffered a sudden heart failure while at work. He was taken to hospital where he battled for seven days before passing away surrounded by loving family.

Mike was an extremely hard working and caring man who always put others needs before his own in both his personal and professional life. Those who had the privilege of knowing Mike were made better and brighter because of his positive upbeat attitude and his overwhelming need to please and assist those around him. Mike was very proud of his Irish heritage, Catholic upbringing and military service. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy for a short time. He had a passion for cars, anything mechanical, history, and music. Above all else, being a loving husband to Krista Flynn his wife of 25 years and a rock solid father figure and provider to Hannah, Ashleigh, Mickey and Liam. His four fantastic children are a lasting legacy to Mike and he was so very proud of them all.

Everyone that had the pleasure of knowing Mike is deeply saddened by the sudden and tragic passing of this outstanding co-worker, friend and father. And those who never knew him sure missed out!

Losing Mike has put his family in dire straits as he was the sole provider for the past 25 years. Mike had minimal insurance coverage so every donation will help his family through this very difficult time.
