Update 7.21.23

Alex Jr. is a son, a brother, a father and a friend. He is 42 years young and he will be leaving this world any day now. He will be leaving behind his children, friends and family who all loved him. He is currently in hospice care in San Antonio, Texas.

Alex's life changed dramatically when he was diagnosed with cirrhosis 3 years ago. We had hoped he would make it to the liver transplant list and receive a new liver, but with a second infection that reached his heart, he was deemed inoperable.

Alex has been in and out of work and his family has taken on all of the financial burden. Thankfully he started receiving health insurance this year which helped lessen some of that burden. We are asking for any financial assistance to help his mother, Luz, pay for funeral costs and any end-of-life care expenses.

If you cannot donate, we ask that you think about donating blood. It saved Alex's life several times.

We are immensely grateful for the continued prayers and support. We will be holding services near his home and will keep everyone updated once details are finalized. ❤
