Help get Kate a CAR!

Friends, loved ones, fellow nerds lend me thy ears! I have a mighty need for a car, and can find no other recourse but to put it out there to the Universe, and my mighty, and beautiful tribe! HELP KATE GET A CAR! As many of you know, my car died it’s final death on the highway a few months ago, back on April 2nd. I was graciously allowed to borrow a friend’s car for a bit, and then another dear friend’s car for a longer bit until that one ALSO DIED on the side of road. Not even kidding. And while I really enjoyed being rescued, twice, by my beloved heros and heroines, and my eldest son has been incredibly generous in sharing the use of his car, I really really need to buy my own. A couple of banks I have tried so far, even my own bank, won’t give me a car loan because I am self employed. Which is fair, but still super inconvenient. And yes, I did wait an absurdly long time to ask for help, when I know full well if a good friend of mine were in a similar position I’d be thrilled to throw money at her, I just didn’t reverse the idea until today, because I’m a dork, and I’m working on my self worth, okay. Lol. This is me working on my self worth! And so I come to you all! Please help me raise enough dough to help me buy a decent car! I have seen something like what I want for 8k so that’s what we’re shooting for! Let’s see what we can do!
