Help Chelsea Get Back on the Road

Sometimes, the world just breaks your life down.

Our friend and family member, Chelsea -- a Baltimore city public servant -- was rammed into in her car last week when an oncoming driver swerved into Chelsea's lane, hitting her head on. Chelsea's face smashed into the steering wheel, breaking her glasses and leaving two big scars in the middle of her face, and her car was totaled.

That driver had no license and no insurance, which left Chelsea's insurance to give the most basic coverage -- they totaled her car and gave her $2,900 to get a new car. This is not enough to get Chelsea back on the road to get to two worksites a week on different sides of the city.

We are hoping that you all will support us in getting Chelsea back on the road in a safe car without adding to the anxiety that goes along with lack of transportation, not to mention the physical trauma she is experiencing and medical bills she is accumulating.
