In early March, Sarah noticed a lump, which was later confirmed as positive for stage 2 breast cancer. With further evaluations, tests and doctor's recommendations, Sarah will need to take FMLA from work as a special education teacher for the entire next school year.

These treatments are vital for her recovery, but they also come with substantial and unexpected medical expenses.
