Buddha’s Vet Expenses

If you know me, (and maybe even if you don’t) you know that my dogs are my entire life. My worst fear happened last night and I had to rush my 3 year old Great Dane Buddha to the emergency hospital because he was lethargic and moaning from being in so much pain. 

Once we got there they gave him morphine and fluids. The doctor said he has a fever and that there’s fluid around his bladder and it’s leaking into his body and possibly causing him to go septic. They did an ultrasound and a few more diagnostics and called me to update a few hours later. 

They found a mass in his bladder and suggested a C.T scan to find out what exactly it is and if it can be removed or not. He has to stay overnight again and receive the CT scan in the morning then hopefully he can come home while we wait for the results to see if he needs surgery. 

I have put a $3,500 deposit down but that doesn’t cover the total and it continues to rise. The C.T scan alone is $3,000 and if the mass is removable, that surgery will be another additional chunk. If you are capable of donating, ANYTHING is greatly appreciated. Every single dollar counts. 

Praying we can come out on the other side of this with many more years with him. I will be setting up insurance and insuring all future pets and encourage everyone to do the same and not make the same mistake as I did.
