V Street Employee Relief Fund

Greetings! The staff of V Street hopes this message finds you healthy, safe, and finding hope in this uncertain time. We hope to be seeing as many of you as possible before too long, but in the meantime, we have a humble request to share. 

Many of us find ourselves fortunate enough to make ends meet during the restaurant’s suspended service because of state and federal aid programs. However, like so many other restaurants in Philadelphia, and all over the country, we have a handful of coworkers who are not able to receive unemployment or other government benefits. These are hard-working, kind-hearted, loving individuals, facing especially difficult times. They have been laid off for going on 12 weeks now and may not have the means to buy food, pay rent and utilities, or support and care for their families in other ways.

If you are able to, please consider contributing towards this fund. We are pooling resources to provide food deliveries, and monetary assistance to our beloved colleagues, and any additional support is immensely helpful and appreciated. 100% of proceeds will go to these team members.
