Lupus creates life of hardships

Donation protected
My name is Pam, and in 2004 I was diagnosed with systemic lupus. Over the years I've faced nearly every obstacle this illness could throw at me-joint pain, fatigue, weight loss, weight gain, swollen ankles, avascular necrosis in my hip (basically my hip joint is crumbling due to long term medication use), seizures, mood swings, skin rashes, hair loss, vision problems, kidney issues, pleurisy in my lungs, mouth sores, photosensitivity, gall bladder issues which led to removal, and God only knows what else. I've been in and out of hospitals for almost 10 years. Currently, I'm in a rehab facility, trying to walk again. After five weeks in a hospital, I can barely stand, let alone walk. I quit my long-term job as a restaurant manager and took a lesser paying home sales job which didn't require me to stand all night long. I gave up my apartment and moved into an apartment with my sister, opting to be closer to my family. When I switched jobs, I lost my insurance plan which had met it's deductible, and provided full payment. While I still have insurance through my new job, I have a $2500 deductible to meet before they'll cover costs. I've been out of work for months, and my bank account has dwindled considerably. Anyone who knows me knows I hate asking for help, so this goes against every natural instinct in my body. I'm not looking for a handout, just a hand up.
