Remembering a Life of Self-giving

They say that a heart that's been broke is a heart that's been loved. And at this time there are many broken hearts. Only because of the love that exuded from Shawna Leigh Paulie when she was in your presence. Her life was taken from this world too soon, but then again, they say only the good die young. Her mission on this earth was complete. A mission to fill those she encountered with love and compassion. It didn't matter if she knew you or not. She could carry a conversation with someone she just met and make you feel like you had been friends for years. However, the majority of her love was shared with her family. A family who cherished every minute of her company. A family who knew they were loved and a family who will continue to know they are loved. They say that a life with love is a life that's been lived. And her life was definitely lived. Up until the very end. The traits she showed are traits too often not seen in those taken too soon. Traits that are far too uncommon in today's world. A world filled with greed and hate and anger. But in this world her life will live on in memories until she is met again by the people she loved.
