Donations For Camie's Medical Expenses

Donation protected

April 12, 2014... Saturday     Precious Camo/Camie Update

Today, I took Camie back to her vet, Dr. Fontenot.  She is sick again... and needs ongoing medical care that we can't afford.

Today... she was put back on antibiotics... given an Ivermectin injection.  She will have to take these injections for some time.  She can't make it without medical care from the vet.

For the past two weeks, her hair has begun falling out... and sore places are appearing all over her body.  Her skin stays red from the infection in her body, demodectic mange.

Camie is loved so very much by my husband and I.... and our other two dogs.  She is part of our whole world.  We wish that we were able to cover all the expense.  We would never ask for anything for ourselves... but, we will to help our dogs.  They are all we have in this world.

Please help us ... help Camie.  Please donate directly to her vet, Dr. Fontenot... or to this fund.

To donate directly to Camie's medical care... to  her vet, you can call or mail donations.  This is the information:

Dr. David Fontenot

Or... you can donate to this fund... it'll all go to the same place.  Thank you very much for caring, and donating.  Below, you can read where I asked you for help to save Camie, when I rescued her on July 4, 2013.

I had hoped she could always be well... sadly, she'll always have this.  I stopped the donation campaign for several months to see how she did.  Now, I have to begin it again.  Today's visit cost $184.00.  Thankfully, there was still enough on her vet account to pay for this visit.... and leave $26.00.

I would like to thank each, and every person in advance for helping Camie.  It means our world.

You can come be friends with Camie on her Facebook page at:
facebook.com/camocameobates.  I update it every day... and when she goes to the vet... I post photos of her invoices so, everyone can see where their hard-earned money goes... and how she is.

I post photos of her, and our other two Pups, Kissy Fairchild, and Sweet Chadwick.  They love her very, very much.

Her Facebook page is where you can keep up with her, also.  Thank you from my heart for your help.  Gloria

...............................................................................

This is from last year......

I Rescued Camie (Precious Camo) on July 04, 2013.................
Below, is what happened .... then, when all of you helped her to live.  With my heart, thank all of you.

Camie (Precious Camo) has demodectic mange... I rescued her from certain death where she lay dying on the cold, wet ground. Camie has come a long ways in her journey back to wellness.

You can see by her updated photo taken today... she does have a long way to travel now... but, one can go on her Facebook page, see all her photos... 'see' that she's come back from death... she doesn't look like the same little puppy whose skin was so bad, only clear fluid, blood oozed from it.

I rescued Camie on July 04, 2013. We took her to the vet... Dr. David Fontenot; he's been caring for her since. We didn't have the money to pay for her care. A friend in Australia called the vet, donated $541.00 to begin her care... from there, other people have been donating to give Camie the medical care she needs.

Camie has to go once a week to get her injections of Ivermectin. Every Friday I bathe her in her shampoo that has medicine in it to heal her skin. Her skin is slow to heal, and is very rough to the touch. It's very sensitive. Her hair is beginning to grow back.

The vet said it would take upwards of four months to get her well. When she is well... then, she can get all her vaccinations. Also, she will have surgery... be spayed so, that she doesn't have puppies.

I hope you will help with her financial expenses. She still has a couple more months, or so... to go. You can go to her Facebook link at anytime... to get an update on her, see her photos. I update daily, sometimes ... at night. You can always communicate, ask questions, find out how she is.

I know some people wonder if things like this are real. This is very real... you can communicate with real people. You are welcome to call her vet to find out her progress. All the links to where we are, the vet is, and daily updates are here for you to see.

I want to thank you from my very Heart for helping her. Look at her photos... you all can see where your donations went... you can see her slowly healing. I'm so thankful for all of you... you've made possible for this little puppy to make it, to live. We didn't, don't have the money for all this.

Won't you please help us with this little puppy I rescued... little puppy who is now, a permanent member of our family? She's an inside Pup now... she can run in, out of a pet door whenever she needs to 'go'... she is housebroken. She loves her two new brothers, Kissy and Chadwick.

She gets good food, fresh water .... all in clean bowls, buckets. She sleeps anywhere she wants to... she has a choice of many wonderful soft places to lay. I think she may be 'spoiled'... she gets so much love, caring.

If you can't help financially, please send good thoughts, prayers for her little body to heal. So far, we've all together created a miracle... she is living, eating/drinking good, and slowly getting well.

I am as excited as you all... I've never seen her with hair! She's beginning to grow it back... some was there in patches. The vet said she is an Aussie (Australian Shepherd)... blue merle. I don't know the first thing about them... but, I'm going to learn. Thank-you all again.

Please come to her Facebook page... I will always talk to you, there! You can come to my Facebook page, also. I'll accept your friend requests. I look forward. Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee

Please come be her friend. When you donate, please feel free to post that you did. Thank-you from my heart. You are helping a real pup that's been through a nightmare... you have links to go see all her photos, see the pup you are helping.

A friend told me about this website to come to raise money for the medical care for this precious little puppy I've rescued. My husband and I don't have extra money... but, we do mean to take care of her... she's our little puppy now. We have three Pups, now. :)))

Thank-you all. I look forward to seeing you on her Facebook page, and welcome you all to be her Friends. She can be 'your pup', too.

Sincerely,Gloria Faye Brown Bates/aka Granny Gee

(I've written two Indie books... I haven't received royalties, nor have 'gotten rich' from them ... if I did, I would never ask for help with little Camie's care. I wrote my grief, pain when my only child, Tommy died. I wrote so he'd never be forgotten.)
