Hanna's World Scholar Cup Fund

My name is Hanna, and I am a 7th grade student from Monroe Middle School in San Jose, California. On Monday April 24, 2017 I qualified for the Global Round of the World Scholar’s Cup along with 23 students from my school to compete in either Hanoi, Vietnam, Athens, Greece or Cape Town, South Africa this summer. The World Scholar’s Cup is an international team academic competition. Teams of three compete in four different events: Team Debate, Scholar’s Bowl, Collaborative Writing, and Scholar’s Challenge (www.scholarscup.org) Students who qualify in regional rounds are able to attend a global round in which more than 3000 Scholars from over 50 countries compete. I am so proud of my team's accomplishment and I am so excited for the global round, but unfortunately, since the competition is this summer and I can’t afford to go without help. Funds raised will pay for registration, airfare, hotel and meals and will cost us about $7000. I worked very hard to earn this honor and any amount of donation will certainly help to get me to my goal. If you know of any businesses that would assist please share.
