Hunter's Eye Surgery

Hi! I'm Casey and I am trying to raise money for my fur baby!

If you know or have been around our dog Hunter you have had the pleasure of being with one of the best dogs ever!! He LOVES to play fetch and would not stop playing fetch until YOU got tired! In 2022 he started to develop cataracts in both eyes. Last fall the cataracts progressed all the way and made him totally blind in both eyes. The vets have told us he will now be permanently blind in his left eye, but with cataract surgery, they believe they can restore his vision in his right eye. Hunter runs into things and is so depressed. He used to cuddle with us on the couch and sleep in our bed but now he sits in his cage almost all day, as this is now his safe space. He has never seen his new brother, Dru! Hunter has so much life and spunk left in him if he could only see. He has no other health issues. All I want is for Hunter to be himself again and run and fetch without fear!

The cataract surgery for his one eye will exceed $3,000 once all said and done (surgery, tests, bloodwork, travel expenses to the surgeon in Virginia, etc).
