Bikes For Heroes
Donation protected
As you are all aware, the world is going through a crazy time. Business's are closed all over the world and we are being told to stay home. However, a group of people continue to fight COVID 19 everyday and that is the NHS. The NHS are at the frontline, risking their lives to keep us and our families alive. No amount of praise will be enough for our amazing health care system, so we have decided to try and give something back. Keeping fit and active is a key part of wellbeing and self love and right now our NHS need our support more then ever, We have decided to donate as many bikes to NHS as we can, enabling them to get to work and back, exercise and spend quality time with their families. We are donating our time to fixing up broken and unwanted bikes to the NHS frontline staff, however we cant fund this alone. We need funds to pay for the parts to fix these old bikes, and anything we have left we be put straight back into our NHS. We are donating our time free of charge.
This all started when a young man decided to put his time into something productive while being off. He was spending more time with his family, especially his Dad. His and his Dad's work had closed for a few months due to COVID 19. This gave them the chance to do something productive with their spare time. They decided to invest in a bike and do it up themselves. Whilst doing this, they realised they were quite good at it and they had found a passion. Something ignited in them and spark was created within the family. What started out as a few bikes has now turned into a workshop full with bikes ready to be done up for the NHS. We have been delivering while complying with social distancing rules to Doctors, Nurses and Hospital staff all over Blackpool. We want to continue to bless and grace these hard workers with these bikes, but cant do it without buying the parts. This is where donations are crucial. We need your help! Lets support our NHS!
