It’s hard to fathom losing a child. To ease financial burden, I’m asking for donations to help Marcus’s family during this difficult time. Please consider donating if you're able, no amount is too small.
Why:
Over the past few days, my dear friend Ellie has been experiencing a mother’s worst nightmare. Her son was missing.
Unfortunately today the family received the horrible news that his life has been taken.
As a mother myself, I just can’t imagine having to face the emotions she and her family have had to endure over the last several days, and those to come.
Marcus was an absolutely wonderful kid with a huge heart. He always greeted me personally with huge bear hugs and a giant smile. He had a creative mind, was smart and thoughtful, and more talkative than most male teens are. I envisioned he would be a wonderful husband someday. He was loved by countless people, including 3 loving siblings.
During this difficult time, I feel like the only thing I can do to help is to ensure that his family does NOT have to worry about financial expenses and burdens- a sensitive but stressful subject for most of us. We cannot ease their pain, but hopefully we can help support them in their time of need.
Please help me take additional burdens and stress off of their shoulders during this time by donating- allowing them to focus on grieving and healing. This means so much to me, and I hope that the outpouring of support will help warm their hearts. Please let's band together and help Ellie and her family!
