From The Inside Out

On June 13th, Vocal Ensemble from Mt. Hope High School will release an album entitled, "From The Inside Out". It will include a mix of originals and covers (eleven songs in all), and the lead track, "You Love", has an accompanying video which will be debuted at our drive-in graduation. All songs were recorded at home, while distance learning. No other music program in our state attempted a project this ambitious, and it is a testimony to the great talent and dedication of our students that we were able to go from concept to completion in three months.
High school students have lost a great deal this year, due to the pandemic. To their credit, however, they are looking out, instead of in, and want to make a difference for those less fortunate than themselves. They are not selling CDs of their music, which will be available to stream on all major services, such as Spotify and Apple Music. Instead, they are asking for contributions to this fundraiser, which benefits the Providence Rescue Mission, in order to help the homeless and underprivileged, who have suffered terribly due to COVID-19.
