Cousin's Family Needs Help

Hello everyone, my name is Sally. I know a lot of families and businesses have been affected by the flooding on Friday the 14th. My cousin Jessica and her family are unable to live in their new home that they just moved into the weekend of May 26th, 2023 because of the damage the flooding has caused to their new home. They just had made their 1st mortgage payment on July 1st, then this storm happened just 2 weeks later. Also Tim her husband had surgery on July 6th so that has been stressful for the family as well.

The water from the storm was 2 feet from the ceiling in their basement, everything that was down there was destroyed. They need a new hot water heater and water softener and all the plumbing that goes with it because the pressure of the water pushed everything to the ceiling, busting all the pipes. They also need a new water filtration system because their water is testing positive for arsenic. The entire electric panel needs to be replaced, they lost their generator and some lawn care items that will be hard to replace.

Their insurance that they purchased when they bought their house is only giving them $5,000, when they have about $20,000 in damages. Unfortunately, this is not just the cost of parts it is the cost of labor to have a company come and do all of the work that needs to be done. Sadly this storm has uprooted the 4 of them from their home and being they just purchased this home they by no means are even close to having the funds of what they need to get back into their home anytime soon and are devastated.

Timothy & Jessica Weiss are the most selfless people you will ever meet. Both have been volunteer firefighters from ages 16 & 14 to the present. They both live in Oxford NJ and volunteer for the Oxford Fire Department Timothy is the chief and Jessica has been in this department for a little over 20 years. They are always giving back to the community with no hesitation. They have two children ages 1 & 2. Jessica & Timothy would never ask for help because they are always the ones helping, but I am here asking please if you can donate anything to help my cousin and her family get back into their home, please help me help them.
