Help my dear friend with medical bills

Friends, family, and kind hearted individuals.

I am reaching out on behalf of my friend who was involved in a motorcycle accident on May 11th. Amanda was T-boned by an uninsured driver while riding her motorcycle home and is lucky to be alive.

Although she was not at fault for this accident it has now left her with an extensive road of healing ahead. Since the accident she has had multiple surgeries, physical therapy, and eventually will need to be transferred to a rehab center to relearn to walk and function on her own once again. This accident has left her with a broken femur, shattered pelvis, and shattered wrist.

Amanda is a very independent and hardworking 21 year old. She brightens everyone’s day she comes across with her humor and is a great coworker, friend, sister and family member. This year she gained full guardianship of her younger sister on top of cost of living (rent, utilities, insurance, and phone bills). This accident has left her with a huge financial burden especially as the driver who hit her was uninsured, so many of her medical bills from surgery and rehab will not be being covered.
