Life changing surgery

Hi, My name is Kim and I am fundraising for my friend, M Scher Dow. She is having a life changing surgery after recently losing her mother. She has experienced much loss lately and is fighting to hold her self together. My dear friend M typically does not ask for help but in this difficult time she needs to be able to focus on her health and not be worried about her finances.

With this impending surgery, a complete thyroidectomy on 23 August 2023. This is a surgery she has avoided for over 20 years. Now it is impinging upon her trachea restricting her breathing and has grown beneath her clavicle. She has also been experiencing major hormonal imbalances and fluctuations that have had her feeling unwell for the last couple of years.
