Amanda's journey

Unfortunately, Amanda is now facing some difficult obstacles. This October, Amanda was diagnosed with Stage 3c breast cancer, also known as triple negative breast cancer. She is currently awaiting further test results, then ultimately treatment. Amanda is only 40 years old. She has a lot of years ahead of her. She is employed at Clinton Manor Living Center. Her job is her life and she has been employed there 23 years. She rarely misses a day of work, if any at all. Her clients and co-workers love her and count on her daily. She has already missed days of work and that has been hard enough on her. She went from never having to go to the doctor, to having to go to the doctor in St. Louis 2-3 times per week, and this is just the beginning. She has a long journey ahead of her. Amanda is full of energy, love, kindness and dedication not only to her job but to her friends as well. Amanda’s family are her friends and her work family. She needs all of us to come together as a community and as a family. Amanda is asking for any kind of support, in any shape or form. Please pray, she needs that the most. She will be using the proceeds of this GoFundMe to help her with her monthly living expenses while not working, personal items she needs, gas money for transportation to and from her St. Louis doctor appointments, and any other needs that arise.
