The Maxfield Park Children’s Home has been in operation since 1918. It is one of the private childcare facilities under the supervision of the Child Protection & Family Services Agency (CPFSA), an executive agency of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, Jamaica. 

The children are admitted after they have been determined to be in need of care and protection as provided by the Child Care & Protection Act (2004). The children are referred through the following sources; The Child Development Agency (Childrens' Office), The Police and the Courts. 

The home operates a an early childhood Pre-school and a school for children with special needs that provides instruction for wards where services are lacking in the public school system. 

We need so many things, but right now we need an Industrial Washing Machine & Stove.
