Kang Family's Small Business Property Damage

My name is Tiffany and I created this GoFundMe on behalf of my good friend's parents' store who were victimized by the looting on June 1st, 2020 in the Bronx, New York.  Their family has been experiencing hardship after hardship unrelated to COVID-19.  Additionally with the shop being closed due to the lockdown they have been unable to pay rent.  
They are devastated at the lost of their inventory and broken shop.  The looters took all of their higher end inventory that insurance may not cover.  The Kang Family and their neighbors have hopes to reopen next month after cleaning up.  This area in the Bronx near Yankee Stadium wants to return to normal with open retail and shops.
My friend is like a sister to me, I've known her since Junior High, and it had broken my heart to know what her and her family have gone through the past few months.  We've set a goal of $20,000 to help get them on their feet and start the road back to normalcy.  The funds would go towards new inventory and replacing/repairing shop equipment/displays. Every donation, big or small will help this family, this shop, and this district bring back normalcy during these difficult days.
