Cowboy Doug's Medical Fund
Donation protected
You may know Cowboy Doug as a member of your family. Your Minton/Ross family, your Reining Horse family, your farrier family, or your Powhatan family. Maybe you're a friend of Doug's family or you sat next to him at the Four Seasons in Powhatan recently. You know him as a hard worker with a great sense of humor, a love for the pleasures of life, and a determination like none other. We know you love him and now he needs your help.
On Sunday October 18th, Doug was injured in a work related accident. He was admitted to Chippenham Hospital Trauma center in Richmond, VA where he stayed for 6 days. Talk of major surgeries, being confined to a wheelchair, and months of missing professional obligations, Doug's spirits were low. But God is good and the clouds lifted! He avoided surgery for the immediate future. With the help of his girlfriend, his kids, and a new shiny set of crutches and walker, he made it home and began his road to recovery.
Being sidelined by his injuries prevents him from working his precious DoubleD Farm and visiting with his loyal customers to shoe their horses. Additionally, the recovery process means that financial resources are depleting and the medical bills are just arriving. Doug needs your help. Please consider making a donation to help Doug pay for the medical bills and loss of income. This will allow him to focus on his recovery and not be further weighed down by financial stress. We would be ever so grateful.
We thank you for your kindness and generosity.
