STRIKE OUT Cancer!

Meet Madison Rose Carpenter, a strong and vibrant girl who loves playing baseball. Not to mention, this girl can hit a ball, hard and far, and plays better than a lot of boys her age! You can tell she has a LOVE for the Game!! About 2 years ago, she had a cyst on her arm, which was nonrhabdomyosarcoma and was removed making her cancer free for 2 years. This past October, she became sick with pneumonia, and during a chest x-ray, a mass was seen in one lung and a nodule in the other. A CT Scan was ordered a month later, once the pneumonia had cleared, to make sure what they were seeing wasn't the pneumonia. A CT Scan revealed 8 masses in her lungs. Just right after her 10th birthday, this sweet girl was diagnosed with Metastatic Nonrhabdomyosarcoma in her lungs. A PET scan was ordered which did confirm that the cancer has not spread anywhere and is localized in her lungs. She just recently started her first round of chemo treatment, which began New Year's Eve, and these treatments are 3 days in-patient every 3 weeks for 9-12 months, and radiation will be towards the end of treatment. There are many other medications that she has to take at home in between her in-patient treatments. This is just a portion of what Madison and her family have to face on this long road ahead of them. There are other targeted therapies that are in process of trying to get approval through insurance which would be beneficial for her treatment, for 1 month supply it is $10k. So with that being said, you can only imagine the finances they are going to accrue. If you find it in your heart to donate to help them, you can donate here. No amount is too big or too small. Everything helps! If you don't wish to donate on here, you can Venmo payments directly to Tiffany. Her Venmo name is @Tiffany-SchieberlCarpenter.
