Unexpected loss

Howdy! My name is Betsy and my mom recently had an unexpected loss of her vehicle. She does not have the funds to replace it and on her severely reduced income at the age of 80 years old, did not have collision insurance. The accident was at an intersection currently under construction with little to no signage and she was trying to be so careful to be in the proper lane. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but her car was totaled since it is so old. She has been maintaining her 2003 Honda Element to save money. Adding salt to the wound, due to her low level of insurance (liability only) she has to pay for the tow and impound fees. I know she made all of the choices she did and basically put herself in this situation, but it is because she has very little income and she is trying to manage her money best she can due to her impending retirement at the end of this school year from Goodwater Montessori. She is a beautiful soul and has given so much of herself to others so I am hopeful she can get some monetary help. I have never created a Gofundme before and have a very difficult time asking for help but feel this is a good reason. No amount is too small and anything will help. Thank you for your consideration.
