Meds for Randy

Randy is my best friend. I call him my brother. He recently received a new kidney and only weeks later he contracted a cold (day after Thanksgiving). His immune system is suppressed with drugs to prevent his body from rejecting his kidney. So a simple cold can really be a big deal for him. A few weeks ago he became very lethargic and even fell asleep behind the wheel. Soon after that his cognitive ability was taking a dive. I didn't know his condition until this point. I insisted he go to the hospital. He has pneumonia , a lung infection called Nocardia. He needs antibiotics intravenously and his insurance will not cover that cost. I want to raise enough to cover his meds and the fees for this service.  I set the goal for 4 weeks of meds. If he needs more, I will relaunch the campaign as needed.
