My name is Abdelrahman Toman and I am reaching out to you from Gaza with a heart full of hope and faith that you might be able to help us change our lives. Gaza is not just in crisis; it's collapsing. The situation here is becoming unbearable, and I've lost everything that once gave me a sense of stability and safety. I've been displaced seven times, each time losing more than I could have imagined. Our home, once a sanctuary, was bombed by Israeli soldiers. Our car, our only means of transportation, was destroyed as well. But the worst blow came when my university was reduced to rubble. There is no other university that offers anything equivalent to what I was studying. All my efforts, all those late nights studying, and all my dreams for the future were crushed in an instant. I feel like my future has been stolen from me. My family and I are desperate to escape the war-torn streets of Gaza. We are seven members in total: me, my parents, two brothers, and two sisters. We just want a chance to start over, to find safety and pursue our education in Egypt. But we can't do it alone.
