Help Charlie fight Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Charlie Howden was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on Aug. 1st 2013. The shock of the diagnoses came unexpectedly, after a year of false diagnoses and tests. Being 34 years old, active, and healthy blinded doctors from considering his symptoms to have been caused by such a life threatening disease as cancer. Charlie's cancer has to be treated aggressively by specialists to contain and shrink the massive tumor in his pancreas so that surgery can be an option in the future. His biggest concern with his diagnosis was telling all his loved ones that he had cancer.
Altruistic is the best word to sum up Charlie's lifestyle and way of being. Whether he could help others with what money he had or even just to lend a hand or listening ear, Charlie is forever giving. He brightens the lives of everyone he meets with his brilliant smile, eyes, and his half English half Aussie accent. Charlie's love for paddleboading and surfing has enabled him to meet a wide array of people from all over the world. Every time he is in the water he is always smiling. Even when the pain is unbearable, he bears down and paddles on.
If you have ever met Charlie, please join us in this fight. If you have never met Charlie, know that your donation will not just affect him but everyone who loves and supports him. With love and faith, the human body can accomplish anything. If you would like to donate please know that every dollar will be spent wisely on both medical and holistic treatments as well as traveling expenses to obtain treatment from specialists.
