Jess' Emergency Move And Bills!

Hey, my name is Jess Williams. For the last few years, I have been taking care of my elderly father, who has had multiple strokes and has been suffering from dementia. He entered nursing care earlier this year. I am still living in his old house, but I have to be out of here at the end of the year - we have a foreclosure hearing at the beginning of January and I’d like to have something finalized soon so we can get the house sold to pay for dad’s care. I’ve made a lot of advances in the last year - a new job, a Patreon side business, coming out as transgender - but getting out of here remains the priority.

 

I hate to be doing something like this, because I feel needy, but the fact of the matter is, I just don't have any choice. Prices are crazy terrible right now and I need whatever support I can get in order to get my new life set up as quickly as possible. And as the foreclosure is in January I don’t have much time.

 

My goal is $4000. I'm looking for something around 500-600 a month in the Philadelphia area, so 1500-2000 is generally going to be used for first/last/security. Funds will also be used (and have been used) to pay for utilities at the current household, as I have been informed that I will not be getting any help to do this.

 

If we go higher than $3500, I will probably try for more goals to help with general expenses, but for now, I just need enough for a stable roof over my head to start.
