My marathon for Pathways to Healing: Ending Sexual Violence
Tax deductible
If I’m going to run a marathon, I want it to be for a bigger purpose.
That’s why I’ve signed up to run a marathon here in Alabama in support of Pathways to Healing, a nonprofit that provides safety, protection, and recovery for survivors of trauma and abuse in South Carolina. Why there and why them? Well, because Sims Tillirson sits on the Board and he is my friend.
And because if it’s important to Sims, it’s important to me.
Sims has always been someone who shows up—for people, for community, for causes that matter. He’s been a steady supporter of Pathways to Healing, and now I get to join him in backing their life-changing work.
So, when things suck and I don't want to keep going, I can remember that it's not just about me. It's about those who are fighting something much bigger than a marathon. It's about us doing our part to provide protection and resources to those who may not otherwise have it.
