HELP KENNEDY

Dear Citizens of Planet Earth,

This is Kennedy Duah Amofa,a 16 years old student from my home country Ghana In West Africa.

I came across Kennedy's photo at my barbers shop; so I proceeded to ask "WHAT","HOW" and "WHEN" this happened and I was deeply heart broken & devastated,not just because I grew up in the same neighbourhood but I know the impact it will have on him in the long run.

I found out that couple of years ago he suffered a devastating accident during a vacation trip to another province in Ghana.Several people perished but Kennedy was one of the few lucky ones who miraculously survived the incident and kept pushing through it all.

The Accident left him with serious injuries,sending Shrapnels of broken Glasses and Deep cuts on his face and on his Back. As his wounds began to heal,the Scars developed into Massive Keloids causing his face to disfigured and in the process a sagg on the left side of his face due to the weight of the Keloids.

Last 2 Years together a couple of Friends who donate plus other unknown good samaritans we were able to generate some amount to provide care for him as he began treatments.

The first treatment to reduce the size of his Keloids went well; but after researching and speaking to a couple of Doctors & friends in the Health Sector, the best advice was to surgically remove the Keloids.

This is solely based on the fact that after these wounds heals there's a chance the Keloids will regenerate and that's something that has to be taken care of in the long run.

This procedure will be very costly for the Family of Kennedy and with his Senior High School years approaching this will even make it tougher for the family financially to support him during recovery and his Education. He is very Ambitious with Outstanding visions and goals which will help catapult him to a great future.

I know we've been facing hardships these days globally due to inflation and more. But through your contributions this young man can have a better chance of recovery and a future full of Confidence & Joy.
