Community Support for Mom's New Beginning

I am fundraising to help cover essential expenses that my mom has while leaving a toxic relationship, caring for two girls (10, 7), and having to relocate.

For those of you who know my mom, you know that she has been through a lot - especially with committing to the guardianship of her two granddaughters. This divorce has resulted in an extreme lack of financial support for my mom, especially as she must ready her house to be sold. She is incredibly humble and kind, and we are asking for help as this situation has resulted in challenges none of us were prepared to handle. It is vulnerable turning to community, because it is an act of trust. But I am hopeful that this act of trust is the appropriate first step towards building a new life.

This money will be used for food, necessary house repairs, moving expenses and utilities for both my mom and the girls.

I have heard countless people say “I don’t know how your mom does it” - and the truth is that she has done it on her own for so long and now needs major community support. Her and the girls deserve every ounce of love and support and encouragement possible. Please share with a larger audience to help us reach our goal.
