Take A Stand Against Domestic Violence

Donate to help Syracuse University alpha Kappa Delta Phi and Phi Beta Sigma support the Vera House this month!

Every January 31st, alpha Kappa Delta Phi raises awareness on domestic violence in memory of our fallen sister, Valerie Zavala, who became a victim of sexual assault and murder. Each year we honor her in hopes of spreading awareness and preventing these acts of violence from happening.

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., has had strong ties with the Vera House for many years, partnering with the Sigma Beta Club at Nottingham High School to raise money for the organization every March. We truly hope you take the time to donate anything to support an organization that has made an amazing impact on the local Syracuse community for years.

We are raising money for Vera House Inc. located in Syracuse, which prevents, responds to, and partners to end domestic and sexual violence and other forms of abuse. The Vera house is currently in a financial crisis due to the increase in caseloads and the Covid-19 pandemic. Take a stand with us against Domestic Violence!
