ATC Presents: Spring 2021 Season!
Donation protected
The Aeneid Theatre Company is a student theatre company devoted to independently producing upstanding plays at USC. This semester, we are proud to produce So Glad You Called, a verbatim theatre piece about USC students' mental health during the Covid-19 pandemic, and Guerrilla Shakespeare, a web series that seeks to reclaim Shakespeare for a modern and diverse audience.
Because we are a student organization, we don't have the funding and support that other, long-standing production companies possess. We need your help to get our company off the ground and onto the stage, and contributors like you can make all the difference in the world.
With your help, ATC can make a real impact within the USC theatre community for all the students involved.
The production team has spent a lot of time carefully creating a budget for the production. All money raised will go directly to funding these essential costs.
We need YOUR HELP. Every dollar raised helps us reach our goal.
If you're totally broke and don't have a couple dollars to spare right now, that's okay! You can still help in other ways. Most importantly, you can share this page on all your social media profiles and help spread the word to as many people as possible! And of course, please come to our show!

About Guerrilla Shakespeare: This production is a web series of Shakespeare soliloquies, shot entirely using phone cameras. ATC aims to reclaim one of the most famous playwrights of all time because the poetry and passion of Shakespeare's characters were made for everyday people like us. This project redefines what Shakespeare means to us and shows why his stories about the human condition survive plague, war, injustice, and above all, time. In tandem with the creation of this web series, ATC will host a series of workshops where members of the USC community can discuss Shakespeare's stories, language, and colonizer contexts. Reclaiming classics is a constant practice not only for artists, but for anyone who cares about how our past plays a role in our future.
