Help Me Go To Law School!

Hello! My name is Stacey and I am raising funds to get me to law school.

A bit about me: I am a graduate of Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA where I received two bachelor degrees (graduating with honors), a graduate of Kutztown University of PA where I received a Master's degree (graduating with high honors). I currently have a 4.0 GPA at King's College, where I was taking continuing education credits for my job. I'm 34 years old, and an aspiring prosecuting attorney.

I received three acceptance letters so far, two waitlist letters, and a few denial letters. One school needs me to make a seat deposit by April 15th in order for me to secure my spot, so that is what I am currently trying to do. I did place a seat deposit at the first school I was accepted at, but decided that I did not want to go there because of distance and my husband's health.

Any funds donated in excess of the amount will be to help me with gas and books, and I may increases my fundraising goal occasionally to reflect these costs. I am also working full-time on a teacher's small salary to put myself through law school, as well as taking care of my disabled husband and two children who are 6 and 8 years old. Getting through law school and becoming an attorney would help me better provide for my family and provide me with meaningful work and a career I would enjoy.

Why law? Almost seven years ago, my sister-in-law Jillian lost her life to domestic violence. I want to help inspire hope in others who are currently undergoing what Jillian and our family went through. I want to become a prosecutor, so people like her murderer receive the proper punishment for the crimes they have committed. I cannot get my sister-in-law back, but I can help others in her memory.
