It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. Since this was so unexpected, and because we've had many reaching out asking how to help, we have created this page in an attempt to help her family cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services. Thank you all for your love, your prayers, your support, and your patience as we figure things out during this time. A memorial service will be held in Martha's honor to celebrate her life. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
Martha Evelyn Dockery Tilley Marshall, beloved soul of 39 years, peacefully transitioned from this world on September 24, 2023, enveloped in the comfort of her home. She was born on November 10, 1983, to Susan McCoy Crisp and Ivandale Dockery in Maryville, TN.
Martha embarked on her noble journey into the realm of nursing after graduating from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in 2009. Throughout her distinguished career, she radiated warmth and compassion, becoming a steadfast beacon of comfort, hope, and solace to countless patients.
Left to cherish and hold close the memory of Martha are her adoring wife, Nikki; their two precious children, Harper Marshall and Brandon Tilley; brother, Michael Crisp; sister, Misty Beck; along with many other loving friends and family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Susan and David Crisp; father, Ivandale Dockery; as well as her aunt and uncle, Carol and Joe McCoy.
A beloved wife, mother, sister, and a radiant presence in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Martha's journey touched our hearts in profound ways, and her memory will forever live on as a beacon of love, joy, and unwavering kindness. Martha danced through life as if no one was watching, embracing every adventure with fearless enthusiasm, and never hesitating to be delightfully goofy bringing laughter to her beloved boys.
As a mother, Martha's love and devotion were unparalleled. She was nothing short of incredible, tirelessly advocating for her children and providing them with unwavering, unconditional love. No matter what challenges life presented, Martha's love remained a constant source of strength and support for her family.
Her absence is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. While our hearts ache at her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared.
In this time of grief, we find solace in the memories we created with Martha and the love she gave so freely. Her spirit will continue to live on in our hearts, and her legacy of joy and compassion will be carried forward by those whose lives she touched.
With love and appreciation,
The Marshall Family
