Help Erik Get Back On His Feet

Hello all, thanks for taking the time to read this. On the night of July 22nd, my best friend Erik went to bed, only to be woken up a short time later with his house engulfed in flames and only seconds to get out. He managed to escape with non-life-threatening burns, but lost every single material possession he owned. He shared the house with his dad, who thankfully was out of town, but also lost everything in the fire.

Erik has been an older brother to me since I was a kid. We have traveled the world together and I've witnessed firsthand how many lives he's touched with his skating, art, and style. Anyone who knows Erik, knows that he is the last person on earth who would ask for help, so I'm reaching out on his behalf to anyone who has called him a friend, hero, or inspiration.

There is no way to replace his incredible collection of antiques, memorabilia from his skating career, artwork, and family heirlooms, but I'm hoping to raise enough money to help him, and his dad get housing and all the basic necessities they need to live.
