Help Flavia

Coming back from WCEU without your latop and tablet is a hard pill to swallow.

 

The facts

On Sunday 5 June 2022, the day after the end of the WordCamp Europe 2022, Flavia, a member of the organisation, specifically of the design team, had to check out of the accommodation where she had been staying with her partner for several days.

So she took all her luggage down to the car and they took advantage of the afternoon to visit a museum in the city.

When leaving the museum they found that someone had smashed a front window of the car and taken everything of value inside: clothes, graduated glasses, and lot of things including her laptop (MacBook M1 Pro) and her tablet (iPad Pro 13”).

 

 

 

Together, we can make her loss a lot less

The car insurance only covers the broken glass, but not the value of the belongings inside.

 

Flavia travelled to Porto to attend the WordCamp and help on some last minute tasks, and that's the only reason she brought her laptop.

 

She is a freelancer who depends on these tools to be able to continue her work and pay her bills.
